Osmaniye commands fabulous views as it is found right up in the steep hills behind Orhaniye. As you enter Marti Marina by sea and look up at the highest hills, Osmaniye is just behind the highest peak, near our stone villas.

Only a short distance from Orhaniye as the crow flies it takes over 30 mins to drive there as the road curves around the hills. Honey is the main cash crop of this area so you will see many bee hives around the area and the bees from this area are moved around large distances of Turkey to make the wide range of honey available for sale at the roadside.

Noticeably cooler at the higher altitude, Osmaniye benefits from wonderful open skies and vistas making any trip well worth it. In the village of Osmaniye there are places to stop and have a meal and drink so it is very popular with the residents of Marmaris who visit it at the weekend for its views and fresh air. The nearest places to stay overnight are Orhaniye and Selimiye. Nearby are luxury villas for rent.

Local specialities worth buying to take home are honey and nuts, you may also find souvenirs from local craftsmen. A popular pastime is to park up in Osmaniye and walk through the woods that surround the village towards the sea so you can enjoy a picnic with a fabulous view over the spectacular coastline.

The nearest airport to Osmaniye is Dalaman, which is about two hour 30 minutes transfer by car. Next nearest is Bodrum, which is about a further 30 minutes away by car.
